By sending payment to me, you are hereby agreeing to all of the following terms and conditions stated in my sales policy.
Full payment is required before any piece of artwork is made or considered to be sold. This includes all commissioned artwork, prints, auction items, and other sold artwork.
Payment Methods: I only accept payment through PayPal and Cash App at this time. PayPal is preferred when possible, especially for larger purchases. All payments made through PayPal are to be sent as family and friends so that no additional fees are taken out. If you are unable to send payment as “family and friends”, additional coverage will be required for any fees taken out when sending as “goods and services”. I am able to send an invoice through PayPal via email. If an invoice is required to be sent, a 3% fee will be added onto the original amount to cover fees. In the unfortunate event that a buyer sends payment to an incorrect PayPal address, payment is required to be sent again to the correct PayPal address.
No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be given for artwork that is purchased and then no longer wanted by the original buyer.
Items Damaged In Shipping:I pack all sold art to the best of my ability, but unfortunately once an item is handed off to a shipping company or delivery party, I am unable to guarantee an item’s condition upon arrival to its new owner. If a purchased item becomes broken beyond repair, a partial refund, exchange for an item of equal or lesser value, or a replacement may be discussed at my own discretion. I reserve the right to refuse any of these additional services if tampering is suspected or if damage is so minor as to not warrant the services above. I must receive pictures of the damaged item within 48 hours of arrival to discuss the above options.
Shipping Charges:While a portion of my products are advertised as “no additional charge for shipping”, there are some that I do require an estimated shipping charge for in addition to the price of the product. All shipping charges are required to be paid upfront with the cost of the items you are purchasing unless stated otherwise. This quoted shipping price may move up or down as you add on or take off items that you are looking to purchase. If the estimated price for shipping has been quoted and received as $5, but you receive a package with postage stating $3.95, there will be no refund or credit given for the difference in amounts. I do my best to give as accurate of an estimate for shipping as possible, and most of the time I seem to accidentally undercharge. The employees at my local post office and UPS store rotate constantly and I have found that different employees and companies may ring up the same item up slightly, or sometimes even drastically differently. This is something that unfortunately is beyond my control.
Shipping Insurance: When having an item shipped, if you would like to purchase insurance for a certain amount (most commonly the amount you have paid for the item), please let me know prior to shipping. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, you will be required to pay the total price of shipping and insurance combined, even if the item is originally advertised as “no additional charge for shipping”. None of my products automatically come with shipping insurance.
Shipping Speed: Whether the buyer or myself are covering the cost of shipping, I always choose the cheapest, and normally slowest, option unless specified otherwise. If you would like a faster option for shipping, you will be required to pay the total price for a faster shipping option, even if the item is originally advertised as “no additional charge for shipping”.
Tracking Numbers:Due to smaller and lighter weight packages often being mailed with stamps, not all of my packages will receive a tracking number. To guarantee that your item will receive a tracking number, I need to be notified of this request prior to shipping. If this results in an upcharge in shipping fees, you will be required to pay the total price of shipping, even if the item is originally advertised as “no additional charge for shipping”, unless stated otherwise.
Lost Packages:In the unfortunate event that a package gets lost in the mail, I am not required to offer a refund, exchange, or replacement for sold original artwork, commissioned artwork, or other irreplaceable artwork. I am willing to send out a maximum of two pre-designed prints of your choice as a gift in the unfortunate event of artwork getting lost in the shipping process. I highly recommend investing in shipping insurance if this is a concern for you. If a purchased, pre-designed print becomes lost in the mail, I will only send out a replacement once two months from the shipping date have passed without the arrival of the purchased print at the buyer’s or my own home address. Once the required time period has passed, I will send out an exact replacement or at the request of the buyer, another print of equal or lesser value. I will not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for original or commissioned artwork in the place of a purchased, pre-designed print. If you choose a replacement print of a lesser value, I am not required to refund or credit the difference in price. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be given for any shipping charges or fees involved with a lost package.
Providing The Correct Address For Your Purchase:It is of the utmost importance to provide a current and correct address when placing an order with me. If you have sent me an incorrect address, no refunds, credits, or replacement options will be given if your package does not arrive at your correct address or is not returned to my own home. In the event that your package does return to my home address, a new shipping fee will be required for the package to be mailed to the correct address, even if the item is originally advertised as “no additional charge for shipping”.
When sending me the address you would like for your order to arrive at, please format it in the following manner: 123 Example Street City, State, Zip Code This format should take up two lines of text. It is not to be combined into one line of text. Incorrect formatting can result in confusion between the street name and city name of your address.
I typically complete commissioned artwork in the order in which payment is received, unless I receive a particularly pressing deadline that will not largely interfere with the commissions I have accepted beforehand. I reserve the right to move clients up and down my list as it best suits my needs and the needs of others. Rest assured, I do my best to complete all commissioned artwork in a timely manner, but unforeseen delays due to personal reasons, health reasons, and supply shortages cannot be prevented. As a human being with sleep, hygiene, and mental health needs, I cannot work on artwork 24/7. I will work on artwork at the pace that suits me best. By giving me the time I need to rest, and not rush through an artwork, I am able to put out a better piece of art. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be given for artwork that is no longer wanted due to delays in the process of making it unless I state otherwise.
Completing Commissioned Artwork Within A Time Frame:I am willing to take on time sensitive artwork commissions when the time frame for completion is disclosed and agreed upon in advance. Large projects are always best to discuss and arrange payment for months prior to the potential deadline. This gives me enough notice to work you into my schedule before spots are filled, as well as enough time to plan for and create the commissioned artwork. While I will do my very best to make sure the commissioned artwork will arrive before the given deadline, I cannot make any guarantees once the artwork leaves my possession for either shipping or a third party delivery.
72 Hour Price Quote Policy:I reserve the right to increase or decrease my pricing at any time. Supply and shipping prices fluctuate as well as the amount of time I have open. To make this more fair to those who have inquired on an artwork just prior to a pricing change, I am implementing a 72 hour price quote policy. This means that I will honor any personally quoted price if payment is submitted within 72 hours. If payment is not submitted within 72 hours, the quote will be voided.
I reserve the right to use pictures of artwork that I have created, whether in my possession or not, for advertising and sale purposes. If there is a particular piece on a commissioned artwork that I like, I may digitally alter and reproduce it in the form of a print or other sellable project. I will not reproduce the entirety of a commissioned artwork without the buyer’s permission. If this is a problem for you, please let me know.
I reserve the right to continue to sell prints of any original artwork that I have created, even after the original artwork has been sold.
If you are wanting to commission artwork for the purchase of reselling and earning profit, such as wearable items, this MUST be disclosed prior to purchase and may be priced differently than traditional commission work.
